Authorized UMT users can access digital resources off campus throguh VPN solution developed by Office of Technology Support (OTS) in collaboration with Library.
On Campus Resources
UMT library has subscriptions to various electronic and online digital resources
to provide access to wide range of online collections related to various academic
disciplines. Many publications are being made available through this facility to
provide access to e-databases of more than 14000 peer reviewed leading international
journals. Users must use these resources under copyright laws.
As most of the full text material available in these databases is in PDF (Portable
Document format). Users must have any PDF reader e.g. Adobe Acrobat reader, installed
in their computers to view PDF files.

The ACM Digital Library provides online access to over 40 publications (magazines,
journals and transactions) in computing and IT, with complete archives reaching
back to the 1950's. It also includes the ACM Special Interest Group newsletters
and conference proceedings, many with full text archives. The ACM Online Guide to
Computing Literature allows ACM users to expand their searches to include non-ACM
works in their results. It has almost over 2 million pages of text and more than
one million bibliographic citations.
Beech Tree publishes three international, peer-reviewed academic journals on public
policy for science and technology, research, or environmental, social, health and
other impacts.
Emerald is a dynamic database comprising over 150 titles in the fields of Management,
Information Science and Engineering. The Emerald full-text collection features over
58,000 articles from titles published by Emerald. Flagship titles such as Management
Decision, European Journal of Marketing, Journal of Documentation, Leadership &
Organization Development Journal, The TQM Magazine and Industrial Robot.

The IET Digital Library is a global repository of science, engineering and technology
focused content produced by the world’s leading international scientific organisation
and thought leader – the IET (The Institute of Engineering and Technology).
The online access includes full access to all back-file issues from 1994 onwards
where available. Online access to the IET Digital Library unlocks an unsurpassed
body of work of more than 100,000 technical papers from 1994 onwards for these IET
journals/magazines. Approximately 450 new documents are added to the IET Digital
Library each month.
The Institute for Operations Research and Management Sciences (INFORMS)
is the largest professional society in the world for professionals in the field
of Operations Research. INFORMS publishes 15 scholarly journals that describe the
latest OR/MS methods and applications and a magazine with news from across the profession.
JSTOR offers a high-quality, interdisciplinary archive to support scholarship and
teaching. It includes archives of over 1000 leading core scholarly journals covering
Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Language, Law, Religion,
Philosophy, Anthropology, History, Geography, Biological Sciences, Political Sciences
and Education, as well as selected monographs and other valuable materials. The

This is one stop resource site for Statutes, Rules and Cases relating to Pakistan.
This site is one of its kind and houses all the federal and provincial statutes
and cases related to these statutes. Taxation, Service, Copyright, State planning,
Labour and all kinds of Fiscal statutes are covered in this site. Moreover there
are more than 1200 Essays and writing and other legal documents available here.
It also houses all the Journals of PLD Publishers that are PLD, SCMR, CLC, PCrLJ,

Chicago Journals Online is a searchable online portal to vital scholarship ranging
from the latest research in a wide range of subjects to historical content dating

Journals Online offers key features such as e-TOC alerts by e-mail or RSS and publish-when-ready
articles before print publication. The UCP publishes nearly fifty scholarly journals
