National Journals

In 2010, the College of Computer Science & Information Systems (CCSIS) was asked to add value in its programs and come up with innovative ideas. The faculty of CCSIS, after few brainstorming sessions decided to launch a new journal to publish original research in the fields of Science and Engineering. CCSIS started working on this project and started a bi-annual, peer reviewed, journal by the name PJETS (Pakistan Journal of Engineering, Technology & Science). PJETS is published in June and December of each year. Editorial Board consists of two groups, Editorial Advisory Board (EAB) and Editorial Review Board (ERB). ERB consists of scholars with good academic background and proven research interest from reputed institutes. Many ERB members are associated with universities/ institutes abroad, e.g. Malaysia, US, Canada, UAE, and Oman. In 2013, the HEC recognized PJETS and placed it in Z-category.

The PakJET is a peer-reviewed, scientific and technical journal owned and published by The University of Lahore, Lahore, Pakistan. PakJET publishes high quality original scientific articles dealing with the use of analytic and quantitative tools for the modeling, analysis, design and engineering management in the Engineering and technology disciplines of Electrical, Civil, Mechanical, and Computer to date and added on thereafter.

The Journal of Engineering & Applied Sciences is a biannual research journal published by the University of Engineering and Technology, Peshawar. It publishes research articles that make an original and permanent contribution in all branches of engineering as well as related applied sciences and mathematics. It is an internationally refereed journal in the field of engineering with a tradition of disseminating high quality research since 1982.

The Journal of Engineering & Scientific Research is a peer-reviewed, multidisciplinary, international journal published by the NFC Institute of Engineering and Fertilizer Research, Faisalabad. It is a biannual journal and it publishes high quality research articles dedicated to all aspects of engineering and other sciences.

Mehran University Research Journal of Engineering & Technology is a peer-reviewed and open access research journal published by the Mehran University of Engineering & Technology on a quarterly basis. This is a broad based journal which covers all branches of engineering and technology. 

NED University Journal of Research is the official journal of NED University of Engineering & Technology, Karachi. Since 2013, this journal is published biannually in two sections, that is, structural mechanics and applied sciences. The journal welcomes high quality research in all disciplines of science and engineering and technology, including but not limited to civil engineering, environmental engineering, chemical engineering, petroleum engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, textile engineering, manufacturing, industrial engineering, biotechnology, nanotechnology and information technology. 

NUST Journal of Engineering Sciences (NJES) ISSN 2070-9900 publishes original contributions on all aspects of engineering sciences. The Journal is originally intended to serve as a platform for publication of international quality peer-reviewed research work in the relevant field. Submission of manuscript implies that it is not being simultaneously considered for publication elsewhere and that the authors have obtained the necessary authority for publication.

Technical Journal is a double blind, peer-reviewed, open access academic journal published by the University of Engineering & Technology, Taxila on a quarterly basis. The articles published in this journal illustrate innovations, developments and achievements in the field of engineering and technology. The journal is published electronically as well as in print form. 

The Journal of the Pakistan Institute of Chemical Engineers (JPIChE) is published by the Pakistan Institute of Chemical Engineers (PIChE). It is a biannual research journal. It publishes articles which cover a wide range of topics in chemical and process engineering.

PAKISTAN JOURNAL OF ENGINEERING AND APPLIED SCIENCES is published by University of Engineering and Technology Lahore. It is a biannual research journal. The aim is to provide a platform for presentation and exchange of original research work by international science and engineering academics and professionals. The objectives of this journal are to promote Research in the fields of Engineering, Applied Sciences, Architecture, Urban Planning, Computer Technology and other Allied subjects.

Pakistan Journal of Scientific and Industrial Research, sponsored by the Pakistan Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, started publication in 1958, has been bifurcated in 2011, into two series. Now it has been published triannually as:
