  What is Database?

 Databases are a good search tool when you begin research. They contain a variety of sources such as articles, conference proceedings, newspapers, charts, reports and reviews.  

 

IEEEXplore (Campus Wide)

 Provides full-text access to 132 IEEE and 45 IEE journals, magazines, transactions and conference proceedings as well as active IEEE standards.

IEEE Xplore provides web access to more than four-million full-text documents from some of the world's most highly-cited publications in electrical engineering, computer science, and electronics.

 Association of Computing Machinery (ACM) (Campus Wide)
  • The ACM contains full-text from 28 ACM Journals and Transactions, 10 ACM Magazines, over 40 ACM Special Interest Newsletters, 15 non-ACM journal and publications and over 100 annual conference proceedings.
  • Content strengths include all areas of Information Technology, with full archival content for all ACM publications.

 ASTM International (Campus Wide)
 The ASTM Standards & Engineering Digital Library is a vast collection of industry-leading standards and technical engineering information. It covers a broad range of engineering disciplines, including aerospace, biomedical, chemical, civil, environmental, geological, health and safety, industrial, materials science, mechanical, nuclear, petroleum, soil science and solar engineering.
Cambridge Journals (Campus Wide)
 Cambridge University Press’s collection of nearly 209 leading journal titles in Linguistics, Politics, Medicine, Science, Technology, Social Science and Humanities.
Emeralds (Campus Wide)
Emerald is a long established publisher with over 200 titles in the fields of management, information science and engineering. All of Emerald research journals are peer-reviewed to ensure the highest quality. HEC has provided access to 150 of the total journal titles. You can view by clicking @ Journals Listing.
SpringerLink (Campus Wide)
 Over two thousand journals on computer science, mathematics, physics and astronomy, life sciences, chemical sciences, medicine, engineering, geosciences, environmental sciences, law and economics.
