Al-Adwa is devoted to the publication of articles concerned with the Religious and contemporary Muslim World. It is intended to serve as a means of communication between teachers, research workers, planners, administrators and all others interested in the problems associated with Muslim World. Al-Adwa can be obtained from booksellers or directly from the Sheikh Zayed Islamic Centre, University of the Punjab, Quaid-i-Azam Campus (New Campus), Lahore-54590, Pakistan.

Al-Qalam is an interdisciplinary, biannual and trilingual (Urdu, English and Arabic) research Journal with a good reputation of both national and international peer-reviewed medium for the publication of the articles of researchers particularly in the realm of Islamic learning/Thought and its interlinked disciplines like Humanities and Social Sciences. The journal has been lending its space to scholarly research papers from scholars – national and international – belonging to various disciplines since 1992. It left no stone unturned in promoting and strengthening Islamic thought among the scholarly circles of Pakistan as well as overseas. Its contributions are highly laudable in this regard and cannot be underestimated in any way. Academia and intelligentsia of universities and other spheres of life are always fervently invited and warmly welcomed for their fresh, novel and sui generis research findings and invaluable writings. It is a matter of great glee and exhilaration for us to mention that Al-Qalam has been recognized by HEC, Pakistan by placing it in “X” category since March, 2020.

A referred research journal published by the department of Quran &Tafseer, Faculty of Arabic & Islamic Studies, Allama Iqbal Open University, Islamabad. Deals with contemporary and new issues from the Islamic perspective. Its contents cover most of the disciplines of Islamic Studies: such as, Hadith, Fiqh, Islamic Thought, History & Culture, Economics, Contemporary Islamic Books and fatwas reviews, and comments on the academic issues. Ma’arif-e-Islami is a biannual journal dedicated to providing analysis and commentary on issues related to various aspects of Islamic thought.

Fikr-o Nazar covers all areas of Islamic Studies and enjoys a good international reputation among scholarly Journals in Urdu. From time to time the journal has brought out special issues on different themes. Its landmark publications have been received well by both scholars and general readers. The contributors to Fikr-o Nazar include some of the most eminent scholars and thinkers of South Asia. Fikr-o Nazar is an interdisciplinary journal of peer-reviewed research and informed opinion on the various issues of Islamic Thought.

Al−Dirasat Al−Islamiyyah is an interdisciplinary Journal of peer-reviewed research and informed opinion on various intellectual and academic issues in areas of Islamic Studies. Its readership includes scholars, practitioners, religious leaders, policy makers, journalists, and general readers. Intellectually rigorous yet accessible and practical, Al−Dirasat Al−Islamiyyah provides an influential outlet for original scholarship in the Islamic studies, social sciences, law and humanities, as well as a lively forum for commentary on current issues from Islamic perspective. Research articles published in this Journal undergo initial editorial scrutiny, double blind peer-review by at least two experts of the field, and further editorial review. Some past issues of this Journal have been especially dedicated exclusively to particular themes.

Peshawar Islamicus is a bi-annual trilingual (Arabic, English, Urdu) research journal of Islamic Studies managed by the Department of Islamiyat, University of Peshawar, Pakistan. It was established in the year 2010 (first issue Jan-June 2010). The Journal was initially recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan in “Z” Category vide Notification No. DD/JOUR/SS&H/2013/432 Dated: February 20, 2013. It was then upgraded by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan in "Y" Category vide Notification No. DD/JOUR/P.Islamicus/SS&H/2014/692 Dated: October 20, 2014. The journal is going to be upgraded soon in “X” Category by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan.

Jihat al-Islam is a multi-disciplinary publication dedicated to the promotion and dissemination of scholarly study of Islam and of the Muslim world. Particular attention is paid to contributions dealing with the Qur’an, hadith, and sirah studies, shari’ah, law and jurisprudence, history and civilization, political and social through, philosophy, kalam, literature, international relations, environmental and developmental issues as well ethical questions related to scientific research. The Journal seeks to place Islam and the Islamic tradition as its central focus of academic inquiry and to encourage comprehensive consideration of its many facets.

The Journal of Islamic Thought and Civilization (JITC) is HEC recognized (Y category) and Scopus indexed Journal that presents a trailblazing platform to the Islamic scholars and social scientists for publishing their research work. The JITC is a peer-reviewed, bi-annual journal published in spring and autumn. We strive for a global readership and thus have always encouraged contribution from around the world. Further to this, our advisory board is truly reflective of our global view of the journal. Furthermore, we hold ourselves subject to the quality parameters set by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC). The Editorial Board of the journal is currently determined to get the journal indexed in well reputed databases.

Islamic Research Centre was established in 2007. The Centre at present, is working in the building of Department of Islamic Studies. The main aims of the Center are to develop a methodology for research in the various fields of Islamic learning, to identify and study contemporary problems and interpret the teachings of Islam in order to assist Muslim Ummah to live according to the imperatives of Islam. The results of the work done at the Centre are to be published in books, monographs, research reports and a quarterly Journal of the Islamic Research Centre. The Centre will also organize Seminars, Conferences and Workshops to achieve and promote its objectives.

Hazara Islamicus is an open access, double blind peer reviewed bi-annual Journal published by the department of Islamic and Religious Studies Hazara University Mansehra. The Journal is dedicated to publish articles on Islamic History, Thoughts, Theology, Islamic law, and Civilization and Cultural issues. Furthermore, the Journal also encourages the authors to submit researches conducted under interdisciplinary collaboration on the important socio-Religious issues including interfaith harmony and studies in contemporary religions. The main objective of Hazara Islamicus is to promote Islamic based research through modern research techniques and social science methodologies. Furthermore, the journal also strives to address the socio, economic, political and legal issues of the globalized words through Islamic perspective in order to create a viable and sustainable solutions to these issues.

Hamdard Islamicus, a quarterly research Journal of international repute, is being published regularly without break, since 1978. Articles by learned research scholars from all over the world are published in the Hamdard Islamicus. In it different aspects of Islam and their impact on Muslim and non-Muslim societies are discussed. The Journal tries to foster internal as well as external dialogue among Muslims and with those of other faiths, in the fields of Humanities and Social Sciences, in order to encourage an atmosphere conducive to universal peace and understanding, for a better world. It aims at interpreting the teachings of Islam in such a way as to bring out its dynamic character, in the context of the intellectual and scientific progress of the modern world.Hamdard Islamicus is an Academic Journal devoted to islamic research and scholarship. It is to serve as a forum for scholars to write objectively, analytically and , where ever necessary, critically on Islamic History, Philosophy, Science, Arts, Culture, Archaeology, Law, and Jurisprudence etc.

Islamic Studies is an international double-blind peer-reviewed research journal, published by Islamic Research Institute, since 1962. It publishes research articles, notes, comments, review-articles, archives, documents, profiles, seminar proceedings and book reviews in all disciplines of Islamic Studies including the Qur’anic and Hadith Sciences, Sirah, Theology, Islamic Law and Jurisprudence. Moreover, the articles related to Philosophy, Psychology, Anthropology, Sociology, Culture, Civilization, Architecture, Political Sciences, Economics, Language, Literature, History, Science and Technology with the focus on Islamic Studies contents are also published in it. Being a repository of quality research, its contributors include some of the very best scholars of Islamic Studies from across the world.

Al Basirah is a Research Journal by Department of Islamic Studies NUML (ISSN Print: 2222-4548, Online:2520-7334) was started in June, 2012 and recognized by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan in Y category in 2015 and awarded X category in 2018. Al-Basirah is a double blind peer reviewed journal which is indexed by renowned indexing databases. The journal aims at investigating and bringing forth innovative research-based concepts and practices in the discipline of Islamic studies at national and international levels. Its goal is to highlight Islamic concepts to answer the questions and to find solutions of different issues arising in modern era in the light of Shariah.

Tahdhib al Afkar is the trilingual (English, Urdu, Arabic) biannual research journal of Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan which publishes papers in the field of Islamic Studies and Arabic having the features of creativeness and enquiry; however, it encourages the papers dealing with the Socio-Religious issues.

IRI provides A & I Services to the journals published in the discipline of Islamic Studies especially in Urdu and Arabic Language. The service will facilitate those journals which fulfill the required criteria of selection i.e. ISSN No., Abstract, Research Based Editorial Board, dedicated website etc.
