Pakistan Economic and Social Review is devoted to the publication of articles concerned with the economic and social problems facing Pakistan as well as other emergent nations of the world. It is intended to serve as a means of communication between teachers, research workers, planners, administrators and all others interested in the problems associated with economic development.

 

Pakistan Journal of Life and Social Sciences (PJLSS) is published twice a year by The Elite Scientific Forum, Pakistan. Its scope is broad and international, covering a range of research areas including: Biology, Medicine, Agriculture, Environment, Public health and Allied Sciences. The material submitted should fall in the categories of Original articles, Short communications, Research notes, Case reports and Review articles.

The Pakistan Journal of Social Issues (PJSI) is an annual publication of the University of Gujrat aimed at providing an independent interdisciplinary forum for discourse on significant social science research and policy issues. It deals with questions of social justice broadly defined. Articles discuss particular social science or humanities issues, review conceptual problems, present empirical reports and debate policy alternatives. We encourage authors to discuss their research experiences and debate whether these experiences feed into an increased understanding of the research realm.

Pakistan Journal of Social Sciences (PJSS) disseminates the original and quality research in all disciplines of social sciences. It was formerly the Journal of Research (Humanities) from 1987 to 2008 but later it was named as Pakistan Journal of Social Sciences (PJSS) by Prof. Dr. Imran Sharif Chaudhry. Then for the first time , its ISSN number was obtained and successfully indexed in some HEC recognised agencies. The PJSS is a double-blind peer-reviewed and multidisciplinary international research journal that publishes articles Quarterly with effect from January 2019 by Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, Bahauddin Zakariya University Multan, Pakistan. This academic research journal addresses both applied and theoretical issues in social sciences in English language. Likely subscribers are universities, research institutions, governmental, non-governmental agencies and individual researchers.

University of Chitral Journal of Sociology (UOCHJS) has been launched under the umbrella of the University of Chitral, Chitral, Pakistan. UOCHJS aims include:

Aims in particular to promote research activities carried out by University of Chitral such as:

  • Providing an opportunity to students of University of Chitral to publish their research work
  • To explore the socio-economic structure of Chitrali society
  • To explore the various traits, dimensions and uniqueness of Chitrali social structure and culture
  • To provide an impetus to culture of research in the University of Chitral

PJSEL is multi-disciplinary journal following a double-blind peer-reviewed policy and the journal is freely available online as well as in print form. The aim of the journal (PJSEL) is to publish research articles that contribute significantly to the body of knowledge. It publishes both theoretical and empirical articles and case studies relating to social sciences including (Sociology, Anthropology, Psychology, Political sciences etc), Education and English Language and Literature. Preference is given to empirical contributions, empirical research, however; book(s) reviews and theoretical papers of immense importance / relevance for social scientists, educationists and linguists are also published.

The Journal is focused on the development of the knowledge of Social sciences by providing an intellectual platform for the national and international scholars to showcase their research work. It includes analytical review of researches, case studies, theoretical articles pertaining to social sciences research, evaluation studies and diverse research studies that contribute to the discipline of social sciences.

Pakistan Social Sciences Review (PSSR) publishes original and quality research in all disciplines of social sciences. PSSR is a Triple-blind peer-reviewed open access multidisciplinary research journal that publishes quarterly. This academic research journal addresses both applied and theoretical issues in social sciences in English language. Likely subscribers are universities, research institutions, governmental, non-governmental agencies and individual researchers.

Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities (JSSH) is HEC recognized “X” category published biannually in the spring and autumn since 1995. The Editorial Board is responsible for final selection of the content and reserves the right to reject any material deemed inappropriate for publication. Articles presented in the journal do not represent the views of the Allama Iqbal Open University. Responsibility for the opinions expressed and the accuracy of facts published in articles and reviews rests solely with the author(s).

Journal of Research & Reviews in Social Sciences Pakistan is an official open access, peer-reviewed journal of Kinnaird College for Women. Journal of Research & Reviews in Social Sciences Pakistan(JRRSSP) is a biannual journal which publishes original research work and reviews articles on all aspects of social sciences that contributes significantly to further the scientific knowledge in all domains of social sciences. Journal of Research & Reviews in Social Sciences Pakistan aims to provide a platform to the scientists working in all these fields to publish their original work.

The PJHSSR publishes research papers in the fields of humanities and social sciences including anthropology, economics, business education, education, sociology, tourism & hospitality, psychology, and is published biannually since 2018 from the Women University Mardan, KP Pakistan. The Quality of research publications are subject to the meticulous plagiarism check, screening process and double blind peer review by national and international scholars owing strong research background and expertise in their respective areas. The published articles are intended for the provision of enriched resource to local, regional as well as international readers to enhance their knowledge and concepts.

FWU Journal of Social Sciences is an open access, peer-reviewed, quarterly journal is published by Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University, Peshawar. The journal is to facilitate communication and open discussion among scholars, researchers and practitioners who are interested in social sciences. The journal bridges social science communities across disciplines and continents with a view to sharing information and debate with the widest possible audience. The main objective of the journal is to publish articles that provide significantly to the body of knowledge.

The Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities, Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences, University of Karachi, is an HEC recognized 'Y' category, double blind international peer review, multi-disciplinary Social Sciences journal. It is an open access journal and published biannually by the Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences, University of Karachi in the month of June and December. The journal covers a wide array of topics from different learned scholars, ranging from international relations, psychology, political science and education to criminology.

The Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences (JHSS), a refereed and internationally indexed journal is recognised by the HEC in the ‘Y’ category. The Journal is published biannually by the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, University of Peshawar, with the approval of the competent authority.

 

Journal of Education & Social Sciences (JESS) is an open access blind peer-reviewed, bi-annual research journal freely available online. The purpose of this Journal is to publish quality research work in the disciplines of Education and Social Sciences defined in the classical sense, that is in the social sciences, the humanities, and the natural sciences. The research that is published may take a theoretical or speculative model as well as statistical and mathematical. Contributions are welcome from all fields which have relevant and insightful comments to make about the social sciences.
